The shining heart
Twenty-two hands collaborative writing project and literary exchange between authors from Switzerland and Hong Kong.

Eleven authors, two different cultures, but a single goal. They have all spent a year writing the same book, creating a story that bridges the gap between East and West. The book shows that two different cultures have a lot in common. In this reading session, the authors will illustrate how it all began, the problems they faced over the past year and what you can expect from the end result. You are cordially invited to listen to the authors and their story as they create the book, followed by an aperitif sponsored by the Consulate General of Switzerland.

« The shining heart »

« The shining heart »

11 artists are involved in this project, including writers from Hong Kong and a delegation from a Swiss collective of other artists. Including Hong Kong writers Wong Yi (黃怡), Lawrence Pun (潘國靈), Dorothy Tse (謝曉虹), Dr Christophe Yui Tong (唐睿), and Swiss writers from AJAR.

You are invited to come and listen to the story of 11 authors who all wrote on one book during one year. After the book reading, there will be a cocktail sponsored by the Swiss Consulate General.

AJAR is a literary collective that brings together 13 French-speaking authors from Switzerland and Canada. The collective, a non-profit association founded in 2012, practices collaborative writing and promotes a professional approach to literary production. AJAR creates performances (multi-voice dynamic readings, integrating music and video projection), publishes texts on various media, leads writing workshops, and sets up projects that aim to expand literature to other art forms.
